The Mourning the Creation of Racial Categories (MCRC) (documentary) Project is dedicated to using the transformative powers of the arts to tell the stories of how people in the United States were divided into racial categories.
I was commissioned to create three pieces based off of a poem, written by India Hackle and Jibril McCaster titled “Letter to My Son”; both of which will be featured in Documentary 3.
