New Mission by Sherman Parnell is a unique fusion of mentorship and art production. As its founder, I aim to cultivate a creative community where divergent thinkers come together to support one another, grow, and thrive.
This is more than creating art; it’s about crafting a shared experience. A dichotomy where the process becomes as meaningful as the final piece. Together, we’re building memories, fostering connections, and weaving community into our work. Welcome to New Mission.
Still in its infancy, New Mission has already received recognition as a recipient of ArtsWave’s 2025 Black and Brown Artist Project Grant, generously supported by the City of Cincinnati, Duke Energy, and LPK.
